Time & Residency Requirements

Washington College & University does not require on-campus residence or formal classroom attendance. Students may complete all course work, examinations, reading, research and writing requirements through independent study. Washington College & University has students throughout the United States and in many foreign countries. Washington College & University utilizes an open-entry, open-exit program. This allows students to enroll and graduate at any time during the year. All programs are self-paced, within defined parameters, providing all students an opportunity to advance as rapidly, as his or her time and ability permit. Washington College & University does not require formal, on-campus residence or classroom attendance in order to fulfill degree requirements. Students may complete all course work through independent study.

Open Enrollment Policy

Washington College & University utilizes an open enrollment policy which allows students to work at their own pace without the stringent guidelines presented by the traditional academic year. Students may graduate at any time throughout the year provided all academic and financial obligations have been satisfied.
